Spanish Basmati Rice
2C Basmati Rice
4C Liquid
1 Can Whole, Peeled, Organic Tomatoes
1 Green Pepper, chopped
1 Onion, chopped
2T Olive Oil
4-6 Cloves Garlic, chopped
1 ts Sea Salt
3T Chili Powder
Heat oil in pan; add garlic, onion, pepper; add tomatoes (reserve liquid) and break tomatoes with hand or spoon. After 5 minutes, add rice and liquid. If can juice equals 1 cup, add that plus 3 cups of water. Lower heat, cover, and cook for 50 minutes.
