Curried Couscous with Peas

Chop one onion.

  • Heat 2T sesame, canola or light extra virgin olive oil in pot.

  • Saute for 3-4 minutes and sprinkle with curry power (2t or more if you like curry).

  • Add water and couscous, stir to mix.

  • Add frozen organic peas and cook for S-7 minutes.

  • Take off heat.

  • Check package for water to grain ratio. Some are 2-1 /2C water to 2C couscous; some are 3C water to 2C couscous.
