Creamy Split Pea Soup

1 piece Kimbu

  • 3 ribs Celery

  • 3 Carrots

  • 1 large or 2 small Onions

  • Fresh Basil

  • Sea Salt

  • 2-3T Tamari

Put all vegetables in processor and chop fine. Add chopped vegetables, split peas, kimbu, basil, pinch of sea salt and 12C water to large pot. Bring to boil and boil briskly for 30 minutes. Add more water if necessary. Lower heat for another 1S minutes. When split peas are tender, run half soup mixture through blender and add back to soup and stir together. Serve with fresh parsley and whole wheat croutons.
