Black Beans with Curry

1 package Black Beans (2 cups)

  • 1 strip Kimbu

  • Sea Salt to taste

  • 3 cloves Garlic

  • 10 C Water

  • 2-3T Tamari

  • 1-2T Curry Powder

  • Grated Carrot as garnish Fresh Parsley as garnish

Soak beans overnight. Drain. Add first five ingredients. Bring to boil and let boil briskly for 40 minutes, then lower until beans are tender. Let most of liquid cook out. Add tamari and curry at end of cooking. Let stand for IS minutes. Serve with grated carrot and chopped parsley.
