BBQ Baked Beans

Soak 2C nary beans overnight.

  • Drain beans.

  • Add new water plus 2 onions, sliced in crescents. (Use approximately 12C water).

  • Let boil for one hour or until almost tender. Drain.

  • Save cooking liquid. In glass baking dish,

  • Add beans with 2 chopped carrots and 2-3 ribs of celery, chopped.

  • Stir in one bottle of "Annie's BBQ Sauce' available from health food stores.

  • Cover dish, bake for 1/2 hour at 350 degrees.

  • Serve with grated carrot and scallion.
